Catalina tastes delicious on Beach Bites

If you’re reading this, you already know that the #CatalinaFoodie culture is thriving. Our cuisine is cutting edge, our chefs are creative and our restaurants are a don’t-miss part of any Catalina vacation.

From fresh seafood to authentic Mexican food and from upscale dining to beach-side burgers, Catalina restaurants have something for everyone, offering a culinary journey sure to please every palate.

We’re not the only ones discovering the secret of Catalina cuisine. Beach Bites, the popular Cooking Channel show that spotlights coastal cuisine, will be airing an episode featuring some of our favorite Catalina dining hot spots. Host Katie Lee traveled to the island and spent time at several locations. Our friends (wink) at Catalina Coffee & Cookie Co. offered up their delicious bacon muffin and she dined on local lobster at The Lobster Trap.

Katie Lee also got to try a lamb burger up at the Inn on Mt Ada as well as chocolate turtles, nachos and the world-famous Catalina Buffalo Milk.

There will be several airings in July, including July 5, July 6, July 8, July 19 and July 20. Check out the Cooking Channel’s website for more details.
