There’s nothing like an anniversary to inspire a new look.
And our fifth anniversary seemed like the perfect inspiration for a new logo and website for Catalina Food Tours.
With a clean look and several subtle variations, the new logo is already adorning hats, shirts and buttons. The logo is also found on our new website, which focuses on an easy-to-use interface and photography that will make your mouth water.
Speaking of making your mouth water, our tradition of unique culinary and cultural tours of Avalon was born five years ago. Inspired by the food and fun of the Catalina Island Chamber of Commerce’s annual Taste Around of Avalon, our fearless leader Erin Eubank had an idea that has transformed into a memory-making experience for thousands of people.
“I wanted to offer something that recreated that event every day, while showcasing our island and its history” she said. “It’s a great experience for everyone from first-time visitors to people who have lived on the island for decades.”
We welcomed our first guests on tour in January 2013. Since then, thousands of people have tasted the island with Catalina Food Tours. In December, Kira Quintrel, who was visiting the island onboard Carnival Cruise Lines, was honored as the 10,000th guest on tour.
Two years ago, the Catalina Happy Hour Tour joined the line-up, offering a light-hearted romp to Avalon’s best watering holes. It’s part of a spirit of innovation and fun that continues to inspire us. “We’re looking forward to showcasing Avalon’s culinary and cocktail scene to thousands more visitors in the coming years,” Erin said.
In addition to the Avalon Tasting & Cultural Walking Tour and the Catalina Happy Hour Tour, Catalina Food Tours also offers private tour experiences for groups traveling to Catalina. Tours can be customized and offer an engaging alternative to traditional tours.
